“My family and I were looking for a dual home for multi-generational living. There weren’t many dual homes to choose from, but the 5 or so that we did look at either had a tiny kitchenette or no garage in the minor dwelling. We felt the minor dwelling was always an afterthought. Then we came across this wonderful design by DW Homes and it ticked about 99% of our boxes. The design had really taken into account the needs for both dwellings.
We were nervous to go ahead because we heard building can be very stressful and expensive! But we feel very lucky, because we didn’t get that with DW Homes. The build didn’t go over budget and the stress levels were nothing compared to what we expected. The sales manager guided us through the whole process. We felt very supported and “heard” throughout. They were very patient with us as we had to sell 2 houses no less and were complete newbies to building and legal arrangements etc.
DW have a high standard which you quickly learn, even down to the clotheslines that they choose for example.
I was very impressed one day when I popped around to check on the progress and somebody had been around and put sticky notes on any little imperfection in the paint job inside and outside the house in order for it to be rectified.
We would happily recommend DW Homes to anybody and thank them for our lovely new home. It allows us to function so well as a multi-generational family.
